Ingredients and procedure:
- A kilo of pork shoulder, wash, cut into small chunks, and fry with coconut oil, until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, cut a piece of ginger and 3 cloves of garlic if you want.
- After the pork is fried, prepare a pot with cover.
- Put the fried pork, ginger, garlic, peppercorn (about 6 pieces), and 3 bay leaves. Boil in medium heat then simmer it when it boils (total cook time: about 30 minutes – 1 hour)
- Add a can of Sprite, pour it onto the pot, and add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.
- Add a 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Also, add 3 tablespoon of Amoy light soy sauce or Amoy dark soy sauce, if you prefer.
- Taste it and when the pork is tender, it’s ready.
- Serve hot with rice and boiled broccoli.
